I also love my plasma canon but are only using it 20-30% of the time, your post makes me want to use it more. I have proficiency 3 and usually run with the proto plasma canon and two complex damage mods. Needed to get the splash damage high enough to kill militia starter outfits. The armor buff however often leaves the milita dudes with a sliver of health after being hit by the splash, need to skill up the proficiency for more damage.
Allmost took out a Madruagar the other day, he could not see me after the scanning updates. And the proto plasma with damage mods deals allot of damage, sadly he ended up backing into me, saw me on tacnet and ran away with only about 200-300 armor left. Need my reloading skills updated. |
